1.20.3.1.8. Frost resistance check
The following test tool – the areometer is necessary.
The areometer is available on sale of the accompanying autogoods. Regularly, before winter operation, proceeding from safety conditions, it is necessary to check concentration of antifreeze, especially, if clear water was sometimes added.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To warm up the engine in the movement until the top hose of cooling liquid of a radiator becomes warm to the touch. |
| 2. To carefully open a cover of a broad tank. |
Prevention
Not to open at the hot engine.

3. To gather cooling liquid in the areometer and to determine density of cooling liquid by a float. In our latitudes liquid should not freeze at -25 °C, at extreme cold at -35 °C. |
