2.14.4. Check of the transformer of high voltage

The transformer of high voltage is in a motor compartment under a protection in front of the rechargeable battery at the left, the transformer includes the ignition coil, the device of switching off and a final step of power which are in one case.

4-and 5-cylinder engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect the connecting plug and a wire of high voltage from the transformer.
Check of resistance of primary winding of the coil of ignition
	2. To connect an ohmmeter to plugs 1 and 15.
3. The required value: 0,5–0,7 Ohms.
4. If the received value does not correspond demanded, the transformer to replace.
Check of resistance of a secondary winding of the coil of ignition
5. To connect an ohmmeter to plugs 15 and 4.
6. The required value: 3–4 kOhm.
7. If the received value does not correspond demanded, the transformer to replace.
	8. To connect the voltmeter to contacts 1 and 3 (-) of the plug (4).
9. To include ignition. The required value: voltage of the rechargeable battery is 12–14 Century. If necessary to eliminate break in conducting according to the electrical circuitry.
10. To switch off ignition, to disconnect the voltmeter.
Work check
11. To disconnect the plug of the valve of cold start and multicontact connection of the injecting valves.
	12. To connect the diode indicator to contacts 2 and 3 plugs (4).
Prevention During this check not to touch by a hand of the connected parts of the transformer of high voltage and wires of the indicator.
13. To include a starter.
14. The light-emitting diode has to blink.
15. Otherwise to check Hall's sensor.
16. If malfunction is not found, obviously, the Digifant monitor is faulty.
17. To switch off ignition.
18. To connect the threefold plug to the transformer.

Only the 4-cylinder engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To connect the voltmeter to transformer plugs 1 and 15.

2. To include ignition.

3. The required value: not less than 2 V, later 1–2 sec. have to fall up to 0 Century. Otherwise to replace the transformer.

4. To connect the plug to the valve of cold start and multicontact connection of the injecting valves.
