2.19.4. Lambda probe
The lambda probe serves for adjustment of composition of exhaust gases and is established in the car with the adjustable catalyst. It is established on a forward exhaust pipe near a connecting flange.
Removal

| 1. To disconnect shtekerny connection. |
| 2. To unscrew a lambda probe from an exhaust pipe. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To grease a carving a lambda probe with special VW G5 lubricant. |
Prevention
G5 should not get on case vents a lambda probe. Whenever possible not to concern the case new a lambda probe and not to pollute it.

| 2. To screw in a lambda probe in an exhaust pipe the moment 50 N · m. |
| 3. To connect the plug to a lambda probe. |
