1. To weaken bolts of wheels. The car costs on wheels.

3. To install the car on a trestle (jack), to remove wheels.


If brake shoes are established again, before removal it is necessary to mark them. Replacement of brake shoes outside inside and vice versa, and also from the right wheel on left is inadmissible. Replacement can result in the wrong brake effect. It is recommended to apply the brake shoes resolved only for this car. To replace at the same time all brake shoes of disk brakes even if only one of them only reached limit of wear.

4. To insert the screw-driver under a lock spring (shooter) and to remove it from lock fingers of blocks.
5. To beat out lock fingers by means of the hammer and the usual drift (a) which is available on sale, for example HAZET 748 Lgb-4.
6. To take out brake shoes pincers, the screw-driver or a removable hook.



At the removed brake shoes not to squeeze out a brake pedal, otherwise the piston will be squeezed out from the cylinder case. If, incidentally, the piston nevertheless is squeezed out, to install it again, at the same time dirt should not get to a hydraulic system. Then to let out the air from the brake system.

1. To clean a soft metal brush the directing surface and installation sites of blocks in the mine of the case, or to wipe with the rag moistened in gasoline. Not to apply the solvents containing mineral oils, and sharp tools.
2. Before installation of blocks, it is necessary to check fingers a brake disk for lack of furrows. Furrows can be ground (on HUNDRED) if disks have still sufficient thickness. It is necessary to grind at once both brake disks, paying attention to a sufficient stock of thickness for wear. If one brake disk is led up, then and the second has to be finished in a similar way too.
3. To measure thickness of brake disks (see subsection 7.5).
4. To check lack of cuts on a dustproof cap Damaged to replace as the got dirt quickly will lead to depressurization of the brake mechanism (saddle) then the brake mechanism will demand removal and repair.

The flowed-out brake fluid will flow down and will get on the main brake cylinder, will damage a varnish and will become the corrosion reason.


At big loss of brake fluid to check ease of a piston stroke. The piston has to be pressed easily. If necessary to repeat check: to squeeze out the piston slow pressing a brake pedal, (assistant) and again to press a hammer shank. For check it is necessary to install other brake mechanism. To pay attention that the piston did not leave up to the end. At a heavy piston stroke to repair the brake mechanism (saddle).

7. To establish both brake shoes in a brake support. To establish lock fingers of blocks and to press them against the stop. To replace rusty and bent fingers.


At installation to watch that a spring of brake shoes settled down under both lock fingers.

8. To establish a lock spring of lock fingers.
9. To screw a wheel, paying at the same time attention to coincidence of markings of a disk and nave. To remove the car from supports and to tighten a bolt of wheels cross-wise the moment of 160 N · m.


To squeeze out on the place a brake pedal strongly and repeatedly, notable resistance will not appear yet. It carries out centering of brake shoes which take the place corresponding to their working situation.

10. To check brake fluid in a broad tank, if necessary to add "MOVE" to a tag.
11. New brake shoes to earn extra carefully. For this purpose repeatedly to slow down the car approximately from 80 km/h to 40 km/h with small effort to a brake pedal, allowing to cool down brakes between braking.


Earlier, than through 200 km it is impossible to make sharp and full braking, needlessly.
