2.16. Engine cooling system
Tightness of the cooling system and operation of the valve of excessive pressure in a cover of a radiator can be checked by the control VW 1274 and 1274/1 A device.
Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To install the control device on a branch pipe of filling of cooling liquid of a broad tank. |
| 2. By means of the manual pump of the device to create and support excessive pressure about 1,0 bars. |
| 3. If pressure falls, to check tightness of the cooling system external survey and to eliminate places of leak. |
| 4. For valve check of excessive pressure in a cover of a broad tank to install the control device on a cover. |
| 5. To create excessive pressure the manual pump. With an excessive pressure of 1,2-1,5 bars the valve of excessive pressure has to open. |
