2.12.2. Maple power steering pump belt
Maple the belt is tense correctly if when pressing it a hand thumb between two belt pulleys, it caves in approximately on 5 mm. The tension of a maple belt is carried out by addition or removal of remote washers between both half of a pulley of a maple belt of the pump of the power steering.
Replacement and tension

1. By means of a cap six-sided key to unscrew 3 bolts of fastening on a belt pulley, holding at the same time a belt pulley the screw-driver (a) from a provorachivaniye. |
| 2. To remove a head of a pulley and maple a belt. |
| 3. To remember the provision of remote washers inside and outside. |
| 4. To put on maple a belt, to establish half of a pulley and remote washers. |
| 5. If the belt needs to be pulled stronger, to take out 1 remote washer between half of a pulley and to establish it outside. |
| 6. To tighten half of a pulley the moment of 20 N · m. |
Prevention
During an inhaling of screws to turn a belt pulley not to jam maple a belt. Evenly to distribute excess remote washers behind and before a belt pulley.

| 7. To check a tension of a maple belt, having pressed it a thumb between two pulleys. If the belt caves in approximately on 5 mm, it is tense correctly. If, for example, it is necessary to pull maple a belt stronger, to take out one remote washer between halves of a pulley and to establish it for or before a pulley. |

| 5. To tighten a bolt with an internal hexagon. |
