Adjustment of the shock-absorber of a butterfly valve
Prevention
Only for the cars with the mechanical transmission equipped 4-cylinder (to 5/93 g) and 5-cylinder petrol engines (to 12/92 g)
The shock-absorber of a butterfly valve interferes with sharp closing of a butterfly valve at an accelerator pedal otpuskaniye since at sharp closing the exhaust of toxic gases because of incompleteness of combustion of fuel would follow.
Check condition: basic adjustment of a butterfly valve is normal. As a rule it indeed since the restrictive screw (shooter) is established and sealed up at the plant. This screw cannot be rotated at all.

| 1. To disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine from an inlet pipe. |
| 2. To open and close a butterfly valve until the pusher of the shock-absorber (2) concerns a roller (3). |
| 3. In this situation to check a gap between the restrictive screw (shooter) and the lever of a butterfly valve. For this purpose it is possible to use a drill of the corresponding diameter. The required value see in subsection 2.18.8. |

| 1. To clamp a drill with a diameter of 2,0 mm between the restrictive screw (shooter) and the lever of a butterfly valve (1). |
| 2. To adjust the shock-absorber of a butterfly valve so that the pusher (2) only concerned a roller (3). |
